Flip Duel

Flip Duel transforms parkour flipping into a fast-paced challenge in which the success of a move is determined by precise landings, trick selection, and timing, as well as whether they remain in the air or tumble across the arena in a ragdoll crash. The primary parkour adventure comprises eight levels and 80 challenges, with landing zones becoming increasingly confined and difficult as you advance from the opening area, The Field, to more challenging stages. More than 100 jumps and skills can be acquired, including moves such as Pike, Scissor, Knee Tuck, Layout, Viper, and Super flip, which provide a variety of techniques to match the layout of each obstacle.

Three game modes alter the manner in which you approach these mechanics, including a full 1-player campaign, a local 2-player competition, and an endurance-focused FreeStyle challenge. Additionally, successful leaps contribute to the unlocking of a roster of six characters, which serves as an additional progression objective as you enhance your parkour abilities. However, if you fail to land, the game's floppy ragdoll physics can transform the failed attempt into a spectacular wipeout before you attempt to retry. Develop your trick arsenal, complete all 80 parkour challenges, and determine the number of challenging landings you can execute.

Overview Of The Gameplay

Stick the landing and time your flips

Flip Duel transforms each parkour challenge into a seamless integration of precise timing, the appropriate flipping technique, and a controlled landing in the designated area. As you progress, the platforms become narrower and the jumps more technical, resulting in a decreasing margin for error when securely lowering your character. The skill panel enables the addition, removal, or switching of new skills, enabling the adjustment of the leap trajectory to accommodate the obstacle ahead. This is achieved through the use of techniques such as Layout, Viper, Knee Tuck, and Pike, which are unlocked.

Undertake 80 Parkour Challenges

The primary 1 Player adventure commences at The Field and progresses through eight distinct levels, each of which contains 80 stages. The landing zones become increasingly challenging to access. The techniques that can be employed are expanded as the parkour layouts require greater precision, as over 100 jumps and abilities become available through progression. In addition to unlocking new members of the six-character roster, successful parkour leaps also contribute to character milestones. This is the case when you reach 15, 25, 40, and 50 successful parkour jumps.

In various modes, one may either compete or survive.

Two players can compete locally on the same screen in 2 Player mode, which is separate from the main campaign. FreeStyle transforms the challenge into an endurance run that is based on the rapid clearing of a series of leaps. FreeStyle provides a single health bar and continues to present obstacles until it is completely depleted by repeated wipeouts. This approach prioritises survival over the completion of a predetermined campaign stage. In all three modes, ragdoll physics transform unsuccessful landings into floppy crashes, while successful attempts are rewarded for cautious timing and effective trick selection.
