Rooftop Flip

Do your tricks on top of buildings.

Do you want to try some tricks on the roof? Rooftop Flip lets you do flips and jumps where landing well is just as important as the trick itself. If you like arcade games that you need to practice to get good at, you should give this one a try.

Getting Going

Start the game and look at the cheat sheet. First try a simple jump, and then as you get better at the movement, try flips. Your goal is to finish the tasks on the roof without messing up your moves.

Advice and Plans

  • First, learn how to control the game. Do a few easy moves before you try more difficult ones.
  • Be careful when you land. A flip is only useful if you can do it safely.
  • Do not rush. Take your time to figure out how far away something is before you jump.
  • Do each move one at a time: Doing a hard trick over and over again helps you figure out when to do it.
  • Slowly work your way up. Once you're good at doing simple tricks, move on to more difficult ones.

What's the Trouble Spot?

In a stunt game, the landing is often the part that needs the most care. Even if a flip looks good in the air, a bad landing can ruin the whole thing. You have a better chance of being able to do harder jumps if you learn the move in smaller steps.

A Quick Look at the Gameplay

Rooftop Flip works best when you take your time. First tries can be a mess, especially if you're still learning how the character acts. First I would work on the basic moves, and then I would try some of the trickier moves. This makes each try more useful than just randomly hitting buttons.
